What better way to get ready for Spring than to create your own colourful bauble with Bristol Blue Glass?

Right now, Bristol glassmakers Bristol Blue Glass are giving the public a chance to blow their own colourful bauble at their Bath Road studios.

And even better, they’ve just extended the offer by an extra two weekends! Now, you can have a go at blowing your own colourful bauble until Saturday 7 March.

Bristol’s glass-making tradition stretches back centuries, but Bristol Blue Glass has been keeping it alive since 1988.

With years of experience, the team have mastered the skills required to blow glass by hand to create the company’s distinct range of bespoke products.

Using only traditional techniques, no moulds or machines are used during the glass-making process, allowing each piece to be unique.

And the result? An extensive product range; from bespoke jewellery to handmade glassware. But if there’s one item Bristol Blue Glass is known for, it’s got to be their blue baubles.

A fantastic decorative feature, the Bristol Blue Glass team offer blue bauble-making workshops year-round.

In a workshop, learn from the workshop’s expert glassmakers, hear about its history and fashion your very own bauble.

But for a limited time (the next two weekends only), children and adults alike can have a go at blowing their own colourful bauble, choosing from pinks, greens and golds.
