On Saturday 28 June, Cancer Research UK will be hosting a bumper charity activity day in Bristol.

The 2020 Bristol installment of the Race for Life will be taking place at The Downs.

A combination of fundraising activities, the day will see a 10K race, a 5K race, and muddy obstacle courses for both children and adults.

Anyone can take part in the Race for Life, regardless of fitness level or gender. It’s non-competitive, too!

Want to take part? Here’s the essential information.

Race for Life

Kicking off at 10:00 on Sunday 28 June, Cancer Research UK’s Bristol event will take place at The Downs.

Depending on what you sign up for, on the day, you’ll be able to take part in a 10K race, a 5k race or a muddy obstacle course of 5K.

The 10K race is a two-lap course (the 5k is just one lap) which follows the perimeter of The Downs.

It’s fairly flat, and you’ll get to see that amazing view of the Suspension Bridge.

Want to get muddy whilst raising money for life-saving research? Opt for the Pretty Muddy 5K course, kicking off at 13:00.

Race for Life Pretty Muddy is a muddy obstacle course. Participants will scramble over the A-frame and crawl through the mud pit to raise money for cancer research.
