The team behind Bristol's favourite jazz & blues festival have confirmed their return in 2020, and they'll be unveiling next year's programme with a launch event at Bambalan.

After some uncertainty and a crowdfunding campaign to ensure its survival, Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival will be running next year. Now ready to announce the eagerly-awaited 2020 festival programme, the team are hosting a launch party at Bambalan on Thursday 7 November.

Headlined by none other than revered trombone player Dennis Rollins, the party is set to launch the 2020 Jazz & Blues Festival programme in style.

As well as an exclusive performance from Dennis Rollins, the launch party will feature some of Bristol's finest musicians including James Morton, Denny Illett and Ian Matthews.

Entry to the event, taking place on Bambalan's scenic rooftop terrace overlooking the Harbourside, is absolutely free. The organisers do, however, urge attendees to secure their place here to avoid disappointment as numbers are limited.

Renowned up and down the country as an innovative and class-leading multi-venue event, the Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival welcomes some of the world's most highly-regarded artists to the city every year.

With iconic musicians like Kamasi Washington, Gregory Porter and Pee Wee Ellis among those to have played the festival in previous years, we can't wait to find out what's in store in 2020.
