First wave of acts announced for in:Motion 2019 including Four Tet, Paul Oakenfold, Annie Mac, Sub Focus, Pearson Sound and more

Bristol's biggest club series is back next month, and with it comes another lineup featuring some of the world's finest DJs and producers from across the electronic music spectrum. Kicking off with a huge Drumcode Day & Night Party and going on to feature the likes of Four Tet, Willow, Mr Scruff, Annie Mac and many more, check out our rundown of the first wave of parties announced for in:Motion 2019.

Recognised as one of the UK's best club series in the esteemed company of The Warehouse Project and Printworks, in:Motion will be celebrating its tenth birthday this year by inviting yet another cast of dance music heavyweights to the Westcountry for a huge run of parties between September and December.

 

Following on from the success of its previous editions, this year will see globally-renowned labels and collectives like DrumcodeThe BlastBugged Out and Hospitality take over the Motion complex for a wide variety of events, alongside those hosted by a range of respected artists and electronic music pioneers like Paul OakenfoldAnnie MacSven Vath and Mr Scruff.

 

Kicking things off at in:Motion 2019 will be none other than revered techno imprint Drumcode as they curate a gargantuan 17-hour Day & Night party on Saturday 28th September. Enlisting the likes of Pan-PotDense & PikaB.TraitsMatador and several other acclaimed selectors from around the world, this one is certain to get this year's in:Motion off to a flyer.

From there, expect a month of hard-hitting parties showcasing sounds from all corners of the electronic music scene, as MK presents Area 10 (Friday 4th), The Blast unveil their 2019 Autumn Carnival (Saturday 5th), Mr Scruff returns to Bristol for another all-night-long set alongside local party starters Worm Disco Club (Friday 11th), electronic music legend Paul Oakenfold unleashes his unrivalled collection of dance music classics (Friday 18th), Hospitality set up at Motion once again for a huge showcase of all things drum n bass (Saturday 19th), Bugged Out celebrate their milestone 25th birthday alongside the likes of Four TetPearson SoundEclair Fifi and Willow among others (Friday 25th), and Maya Jane Coles' He.She.They. host a huge Halloween party (Saturday 26th) in October.

 

Also announced this week are the return of Annie Mac Presents as the universally-respected Radio One DJ invites Chicago legend Green Velvet to Motion alongside DebonairRebuke, Big Miz and more on Friday 1st November, another massive Halloween Carnival of the Dead party courtesy of Bristol bass aficionados The Blast on Saturday 2nd November featuring none other than Shy FX and a techno masterclass headlined by German veteran Sven Vath on Friday 20th December.

 

The Autumn/Winter season is undoubtedly the biggest time of year for Bristol's best club venue, and the first wave of parties announced for the 2019 in:Motion series is a huge indicator of what's to come over the course of the last few months of the year. Motion aren't one to deal in half-measures, so expect some of the most memorable parties Bristol has ever seen going down at the club in September, October, November and December of this year.
