Fat Lip Summer Beach Party at The Lanes in Bristol on Saturday 27th July 2019Posted on: 15 Jul 2019
With the temperatures soaring of late, what better time for the Fat Lip Summer Beach Party at one of Bristol's top venues, The Lanes, on Saturday 27th July 2019.
Always popular, always packed out, and always pumping out some of the best tunes suited to hot weather and sunny climes, you're free to don your most fetching beachwear, bikinis and even mankinis for a night of great songs, good times and awesome vibes.
June's edition of the event was a massive hit, and this time will see the return of DJ Sean Smith, CHADDERS and Remy Melee spinning the vinyl and purveying the grooves for an all-night mash-up of pop-punk, party and alternative that make it one of the club nights of July.
Taking place on the last Saturday of the month, Fat Lip has become attained something akin to legendary status on the Bristol club scene, with its line-up of hit tunes and cool classics alongside fun and games such as beer pong and inflatables and great giveaways, free sweets, goodies and lots of other fantastic things. There's also a brilliant courtyard and upstairs chill-out lounge area if you want to take a step away from the evening's energetic hi-jinks for a while.
DJs will be belting out the classics from iconic and legendary acts such as Blink 182, Avril Lavigne, While She Sleeps, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Paramore, One Direction, Busted, Eminem, McFly, Limp Bizkit, Miley Cyrus, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, R Kelly and a whole fabulous load more.
Unmissable drinks deals will be coming as thick as fast as the tuneage, with offers such as £2.50 for shots of Sambucca, Tequila and Fireball, £3 for cans of Orchard Pig Reveller, £4 for double vodka Red Bull, and £3.50 for a single spiced rum and mixer. The Lanes is, of course, famous for its bowling, and you can break up the party-going, tunes and drinks with a game for £3.
