Bristol Craft Beer Festival this weekend

Posted on: 05 Jun 2019

Bristol folk know a thing or two about beer. And we're not just talking about the luxuriantly-bearded, plaid-shirted hipster pretenders. We're talking about the real beer lovers; the guys who knew how to appreciate a good beverage long before those chaps even contemplated having that first tattoo. But that's the great thing about this city; if you're a beer enthusiast, we'll embrace you no matter what your age, background or prodigious proclivity for pulled pork. Enter, then, Bristol Craft Beer Festival which takes place on Bristol's harbourside on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June 2019.

Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2019

This two-dayer of all things beer and ale related will be a joyous jamboree, a craft beer-swiggin' cornucopia, a hedonistic heartland, and alco-sipping pitstop for those with a fine taste for the good, fine nectar. And what better location for such revelry than at Bristol's historic, buzzing harbourside.

World class beer will be gulped down by the city's beer-love multitudes which will also invite you to taste a few very special one-off brews along with a carnival of music, DJs and yummy food stalls (well, stalls selling yummy food, at any rate).

Clink your glasses for a lip-smacking line-up of eminently quaffable libations that will pack in a variety of ciders, whiskeys, wines and gins as well as the locally produced, hand-crafted artisanal products. A quick sampling of the breweries already confirmed to dispense their delicious wares include the laudable likes of Arbor Ales, Bristol Beer Factory, Lost & Grounded, Siren Craft Brew, Wild Beer Co, Wiper and True, Good Chemistry Brewing and Stone & Wood.

This year will see once again see the return of the 'all in' ticket, so beer imbibers will get the full-on festival experience of being able to amble, experience and learn the heady delights of more than 250 beers from 35 specially selected breweries partaking in the event. Some tickets are available for the Friday and SAturday night sessions, and only a few VIP ones remain for Saturday afternoon. Standard ticekts are £48.95 inluding booking fees and covers you for event entry for five hours, pours from any brewer, access to all the music and the beer alchemist brewers themselves, free beer tasting and a programme.
