Sid and the Skatterbrains to play free show at The Cider Press this Saturday 13th April

Posted on: 10 Apr 2019

Ska Reggae cover band Sid and the Skatterbrains will perform what will undoubtedly be a foot-stomping, raucous set at The Cider Press in Bristol on Saturday 13th April 2019.

Sid and the Skatterbrains.

The Barry/Cardiff-based group have been making a name for themselves on the gigging circuit and now we'll get the chance to enjoy their musical brilliance when they raise the roof at one of the city's most popular cider-swigging institutions.

Gigging at the venue for the first time, they'll doff their cap to many of the legends of Rocksteady, Ska, Roots and Reggae, so you can expect tributes to the likes of The Specials, Toots & The Maytals and Madness.

The Cider Press itself holds something of a legendary status to the city's fermented apple imbibers, this large, open-plan pub usually stocking up to 28 ciders and a good selection of real ales too.

Sid and the Skatterbrains will get the Ska and Rocksteady rollercoaster rockin' from 9pm, and getting in won't cost you a penny.
