Mondays are anything but a laugh, but you can change all that at Smoke and Mirrors on Denmark Street. Situated just along from The Bristol Hippodrome, this cosy theatre is hosting some of Edinbugh Fringe’s finest comedians for some never-seen-before sets for a mere £3.50. Every Monday and some Tuesdays all the way through until Monday 30th July.

Smoke and Mirrors Bristol

Hosted by long running comedy night ‘A Bunch of Japes’ it's a chance to see some huge names as they prepare for the highlight of the comedy calendar with the Edinburgh Fringe, which opens from 3rd  through 27th August 2018.

“When can I get amongst this?” you ask. Well - it all kicks off tonight June the 11th, starting with Kiri Pritchard-McLean. You may know her from the hilarious hit true crime podcast, All Killa, No Filla, which tours the US later this year. If true crime isn’t your bag, then you’ll have seen her on Russel Howard’s Good News, Latitude Festival’s comedy stage and treading the boards of hundreds of the UK’s finest venues. She’s, witty, clever, thoughtful and pithy, and you can see for just £3.50 - considerably cheaper than her sold out Bristol Comedy Garden show later in the month.

Still to come in the stellar line up is the controversial Californian Fin Taylor, Ian Smith, who hosts comedy-football podcast "The Magic Sponge" and American comedian Robyn Perkins who combines her scientific background with her ridiculous life stories resulting in mega laughs. If you fancy a surprise, then for now the rest of the line up is a secret, but you can expect many more top comedy names for a snip of a price. Oh and did we mention that the delicious pizzas here are 2-for-1 on Mondays? In our opinion, pizza and a good laugh could fix a broken leg. So what are you waiting for?
