Posted on: 31 May 2017Aladdin will run from the 9th December to the 12th January at the Bristol Hippodrome, starring Pasquale as the Genie and Marti Pellow as Jafar.

Is it really that time of year again? You might have been forgiven for thinking that Christmas was well and truly BEHIND YOU – but with seven months to go until the big day, it is never too early to begin planning for the festive season. And where better a place to begin than with your theatrical entertainment?
The Bristol Hippodrome has a long and distinguished history of staging the best pantomimes in the city, and this looks likely to continue apace with today’s announcement of its primary cast. Leading an all-star cast in their performance of Aladdin are Joe Pasquale, comedian and former King of the Jungle, and the Scottish singing sensation Marty Pellow (below). The two will be divided along the lines of good and evil, playing the Genie and Jafar respectively.

Join them both as they help and hinder the adventures of Aladdin through Old Peking, in a classic tale which incorporates magic lamps, flying carpets, caves of treasure and exciting action! This is a pantomime for all times and all ages, promising fun for the entire family.
