One of the prime destinations for some of the biggest acts from the UK and abroad, the O2 Academy Bristol is one of the city's most popular venues for students and native Bristolians alike.

From drag extravaganzas to cover stars, an electronic legend and some seriously massive hip-hop names, May is set to be a wild month for the O2 Academy Bristol.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World Tour 2024  - Wednesday 1 May

With glamazons from the UK and beyond, this live extravaganza sees queens like Series 2’s Tia Kofi, and fellow UK queens Choriza May and Gothy Kendoll, as well as international queens like Hannah Conda, Scarlet Envy, and Marina Summers.

Fleetwood Bac  - Saturday 4 May

Fleetwood Bac were the world’s first Fleetwood Mac tribute band, endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself, and are the only Mac tribute to authentically replicate the classic 'Rumours' line-up – if you wish you could see the legendary band live, this is your next best bet.

Livewire: The AC/DC Show  - Saturday 18 May

Another electric tribute act, Livewire are professional musicians who have a true love of this legendary rock band. They deliver a critically-acclaimed ‘High Voltage’ two-hour rock ’n’ roll set with not only cannons and a full bank of Marshall amps, but a journey that takes fans from one of the best-selling albums of all time, Back in Black through to the 2020 release PWR UP, with a healthy dose of classics from the Bon Scott era.

Brett Young  - Sunday 19 May

Brett Young is a country-pop singer-songwriter, who took up songwriting after an elbow injury forced him to quit baseball. Perhaps it was fate, as he’s now an acclaimed songwriter with a following in North America and beyond – having gone multi-platinum, he’s now touring his new album Across the Sheets.

Danny Brown - Friday 24 May

The legendary and unhinged hip-hop artist Danny Brown is one of rap’s most idiosyncratic figures. Having demonstrated his talent for rhyme and unique vision time and time again on albums like Atrocity Exhibition (in which he collaborated with, among others, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Earl Sweatshirt), he’s now touring his 2023 album Quaranta – his first solo work in over six years.

Dot To Dot  - Saturday 25 May

A big one for May, this award-winning festival returns with an armful of world-class and emerging talent, including local Bristolian acts.

Gary Numan  - Monday 27 May

One of the most influential figures in alternative and dance music ever since his ascension in the late 1970s, Numan is celebrated for dystopian, sci-fi-esque work. This upcoming show will see him celebrate two of his most acclaimed records (Replicas and The Pleasure Principle) – and is sure to prove popular with his dedicated fanbase!

Hieroglyphics  - Friday 31 May

For the very first time, California’s influential hip hop crew Hieroglyphics are coming to the UK. Consisting of Del the Funky Homosapien, the entirety of the group Souls of Mischief, Casual, Pep Love, Jaybiz and Domino.
