Gareth Dunlop, a beloved singer-songwriter with nearly 5 million streams on Spotify, is coming to Bristol this year.

Gareth Dunlop is a singer-songwriter from Belfast with a quickly-rising star. Having played guitar since he picked up his Dad’s old Yamaha at age 14, Dunlop is a developed singer and songwriter with recognition across the entertainment industries; his Spotify boasts over 90,000 regular monthly listeners, and almost 5 million streams on his track “Wrap Your Arms Around Me”.

Dunlop is noted for his Bob Dylan and Tom Waits-inspired sound, and has won fans over with his candid, self-deprecating style.

Dunlop has been endorsed and recognised by the astounding list of artists he’s worked with, from Van Morrison to James Morrison, Snow Patrol to Stereophonics. On top of that, his universally appealing and uniquely written songs have seen play throughout TV from promo spots to shows like Love Island, Lucifer and Bones.

Now, Gareth Dunlop is going on a headline tour of the UK & Ireland to promote his new album Welcome To The House Of I Don’t Know. Dunlop’s tour sees the singer-songwriter visit cities across the UK & Ireland from Glasgow to Manchester to Dublin – and that of course includes Bristol.

The powerful new album, Welcome to the House of I Don’t Know, sees Dunlop break the boundaries of the boxes people try to put him in; it’s an ambitious and timeless album that is testament to his artistic prowess. He’s managed to create something huge and cinematic in scope, but at the same time deeply personal, and intimate.

On Friday 14 June, singer-songwriter Gareth Dunlop will come to Crofter’s Rights for a massive gig, in what’s sure to be a world-shaking show for any fans of his vulnerable and heartfelt music.
