It’s nearly that time of year again, as some of the biggest funnypeople in the UK come out to Queen Square to revel in the summer sun and crack some cracking jokes, just for the craic.

Coming this June, Bristol Comedy Garden is a huge bill, full of some of the best comedy talent the country has to offer, so we’ve helpfully broken it down into bite-sized day chunks for you to find the comedians for you, on the day that you’re free.

Each bill has five brilliant comics, led by a household name headlining, and an impeccably charming host!

 

Wednesday 12th June

Wednesday’s show featuring Josh Widdecombe, John Kearns, Fatiha El Ghorri, Harriet Kemsley and Ivo Graham has already sold out, but you can click here to keep an eye on if tickets become available.

Thursday 13th June

Headlining Thursday’s show is big-collared funnyman and eight-time British Comedy Award winner, Harry Hill! A truly madcap performer, who knows where this “genius” (The Times) comedian will take the night!

Joining Harry on Thursday will be the hilarious Maisie Adam – winner of the Best Newcomer Award at Edinburgh Fringe, and regular on comedy shows including Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Last Leg. Also on the bill is Josh Pugh, the online viral sensation described as “inarguably five stars” (British Comedy Guide).

All hosted by podcast supremo and Comedy Garden favourite, John Robins.

Friday 14th June

The keystone in Friday’s lineup is Irish musical comedy megahit David O’ Doherty, known for regular appearances on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, as well as regular appearances at Comedy Garden equipped with his tiny chair and plastic keyboard.

With David on the night will be Taskmaster star and Scotland’s comedy queen, Fern Brady, as well as the fresh and dry stylings of Chinese-Singaporean breakout star Jin Hao Li, and excellent stand-up from Live At The Apollo star and host of the podcasts Trusty Hogs and Daddy Look At Me, Helen Bauer. All hosted by multi-award nominee, Amy Gledhill.
