The Eldon House’s popular quiz night is back TONIGHT!

Posted on: 15 Jan 2024

Roll up, roll up! It’s time for the first quiz night at the newly refurbished Eldon House pub in Clifton since its recent changing of hands.

Eldon House’s quiz night runs every Monday night from 8 PM with an array of cash prizes available. Entry to this reopening event is FREE and the grand return of the quiz is set to take place tonight, Monday 15 January 2024.

Quizzers are recommended to get down to the Eldon House early to guarantee a table – good luck!

Taking place each Monday from 8 PM onwards, attendees to the Eldon’s quiz night can expect a classic quiz set-up. There will be eight themed rounds, including classics such as picture and music rounds.

Entry of this much-loved quiz is normally £1 but, for this reopening special, you will not be charged for entry. Unlike a lot of local pub quizzes, there is no limit on team numbers so it’s the more the merrier!

There is also the chance at a cash prize as well as some cheeky drinks! The winning team will go head-to-head with the Eldon’s grand quiz master with three special questions. Question one holds a £10 prize, question two a £20 prize and question three a £50 prize.

So get your thinking caps on and head down to the quiz’s FREE grand return tonight (Monday 15 January 2024) at the Eldon Tavern or at one of the future quizzes -  taking place every Monday.

Eldon House is a beloved, newly refurbished drinking hole in Clifton, serving an impressive range of locally sourced craft beers, lager, and cider as well as regular quizzes, live music events and food – coming soon!

The pub is located at 6 Lower Clifton Hill, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1BT. Keep up to date with what’s coming up at the pub from the Eldon House’s Facebook page.
