A beloved Bristol brewery are running ‘Fundays’ throughout January

With the aim of banishing the January Blues, Wiper and True have organised an extravaganza of high-fun, no-alcohol, low-cost events all over Bristol.

 

‘A Month of Fundays’ features activities taking place at Wiper and True taprooms as well as the breweries’ partner venues; from free yoga classes to pottery, life drawing classes to pub quizzes, jiu-jitsu masterclasses to sound baths – there is plenty going on!

On Friday 12 January, Bristolians can enjoy a live acoustic set and a FREE low-alcohol pint at Clubhaus Harbourside or take part in a low-alcohol beer tasting at iconic bottle shop Casks of North Street. On Saturday 13, shake off those wintery cobwebs with a Northern Soul dance event and FREE low-alcohol beer at The Taproom in Old Market.

 

Loads is going on Sunday 14, including a FREE sound bath at The Taproom in Old Market (fully booked); an inclusive social cycle at Mud Dock; a guided 5k social run around St Werburghs; and a lampshade making workshop and FREE low-alcohol beer at Snuffy Jack’s Ale House.

 

On Monday 15, there will be a low-alcohol beer tasting event at Watershed cinema whilst Tuesday 16 will see a social gaming night and FREE low-alcohol pint at Chance and Counters on Gloucester Road.

 

Thursday 18 features a day at Riverside co-working with FREE low-alcohol beer, a virtual racing competition at The Taproom at Old Market and a pub quiz with FREE low-alcohol beer at Green House. On Friday 19, take the opportunity to improve your Padel game at Surge Padel.

 

On Sunday 21, Old Market’s The Taproom will host a FREE pottery workshop (fully booked) with FREE low-alcohol beer. Tobacco Factory will host a life drawing class on Monday 22 and Uni of Bristol freshers can enjoy a low-alcohol beer tasting at Anson Rooms on Wednesday 24. Finally celebrate Burns Night with Ceilidh dancing at Old Market Assembly on Friday 26.
