Taking to the Beacon Hall stage in May, beloved comedian, writer and podcaster Adam Buxton will present an evening of guests, surprises and plenty more to fill up the giant podcast bin.

 

The Adam Buxton Podcast live tour will drop by Bristol Beacon on Friday 24 May 2024.

 

Presented by Crosstown Concerts, this marks the first time Buxton will be performing his podcast live on tour. Crowned the winner of the first Podcast Champion at the 2017 British Podcast Awards, he has since delivered a slew of deep, gentle, and hilarious chatter across hundreds of episodes.

Adam Buxton rose to prominence as one half of the comedy duo ‘Adam and Joe’ with his close friend Joe Cornish. They presented The Adam and Joe Show on Channel 4 from 1996 to 2001 as well as a long-running radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music and Buxton has performed various solo shows.

 

In addition to his comedy work, Buxton has appeared in popular films including Edgar Wright’s Hot Fuzz, Stardust and Sing – which also stars the likes of Taron Egerton, Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey. He has also made various music videos, both for himself and musical legends Radiohead.

 

The Adam Buxton Podcast launched back in 2015 and has become something of a cultural sensation with likes of Jesse Armstrong, Tom Hanks, Richard E Grant, Graham Norton, Louis Theroux, Jarvis Cocker, Phoebe Bridgers, Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Connolly, Simon Pegg, Greta Gerwig, Paul Thomas Anderson and more all appearing.
