Port Eliot Festival announce first wave of acts for 2019 including Shappi Khorsandi, Bruce Parry, Aldous Harding and more

Cornwall's favourite boutique festival is back with the announcement of their 2019 lineup, featuring music, words, food, workshops and more from the likes of comedian Shappi Khorsandi, renowned documentarian Bruce Parry, folk singer-songwriter Aldous Harding and many more. Tickets for the festival, taking place from 25th-28th July 2019, are on sale now and can be found here.

Taking place on the secluded Port Eliot Estate in St Germans, Cornwall, Port Eliot festival has come to be loved up and down the country for its combination of a huge array of art and ideas, ranging from fashion to fine dining, wellbeing to spoken word, and of course a fantastically diverse music lineup that caters for every taste.

 

Previous iterations of the festival have seen some of the UK's top musical talent as well as some respected names from the worlds of film and tv grace the stages, including Florence and the Machine, Frank Turner, Robert Webb, Billy Bragg, Jarvis Cocker and Andrew Weatherall among others.

 

This year will see New Zealand-born folk singer-songwriter Aldous Harding headline the Port Eliot main stage on the first day, before electropop three-piece Stealing Sheep, electronic group Beak> and indie-rock outfit The Orielles top the billing on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Port Eliot Festival is open to people of all ages, with a great range of family-friendly activities on offer throughout the weekend.

The fabled Boogie Round will be making its comeback too, with Bristol party starters Alfresco Disco, Futureboogie mainstay Christophe, Lord Leopard, The Beating Heart, Pete Fowler and more bring the vibes to the intimate tent stage nestled deep within the woods. Follow the music blasting from the huge Boogie Round soundsystem when the sun goes down and party till the sun comes up!

 

On top of that, attendees can expect appearances from one of the country's favourite standup comedians Shappi Khorsandi, explorer, filmmaker and all-round adventurer Bruce Parry, surreal standup Paul Foot and more, as well as workshops and activities hosted by British stop-motion experts Aardman Animation, Hole & Corner magazine, Control Movement Parkour and many, many more guaranteed to keep you busy throughout the weekend.

 

Tickets for this year's Port Eliot festival are now at Tier 3 (full weekend passes) and are priced at £175 per person. Full family weekend tickets (2 adults & two under-13s), young person's and children's tickets and single day tickets are also available - find all the info and book yours here.
