Calligraphy Christmas card making, mince pies and mulled wine with Rosie Somerset Lettering

This beginner’s workshop in modern calligraphy at HOURS in Colston Yard will teach you the basics of dip pen calligraphy, leaving you with the skills needed to make beautiful handmade calligraphy Christmas cards.

No previous experience is required, and indulge in a glass of mulled wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative) and some mince pies as Rosie explores the basic shapes and patterns that are used in calligraphy, before teaching you how to write all the letters in a modern dip pen style. It’s the perfect way to add a personal touch to a loved one’s gift this Christmas.
