Coffee House Sessions at The Balloon Cafe & Bar on Wednesday 28th November 2018

Posted on: 23 Nov 2018

Enjoy a coffee (or cuppa) whilst listening to some of the region's most promising up-and-coming musical talent as part of The Balloon Cafe & Bar's ongoing series of Coffee House Sessions, the next of which takes place on Wednesday 28th November 2018.

Throwing off the shackles of being just a student gaff, Coffee House Sessions has, in fact, been running since 2013 and been the springboard for many performers to flourish and make a name for themselves.

Eschewing the usual gig formula which generally revolves around performers playing to a crowd imbibing on all sorts of intoxicating libations, the emphasis here is enjoying what they have to offer with nothing more potent or vivifying than a frothy cappuccino or fine cup of char.

These popular pop-up sessions are regular reminders of the burgeoning talent that exists in the city, with each week focusing on a fresh showcase of musicians and performers. The perfect mid-week mix of mingling, moccahinos and music, then. And for two quid, you can also enjoy a coffee and piece of cake. Lovely.

Coffee House Sessions take place from 3pm to 5pm and entry is free. You can find out more about the event at the official Facebook page, while if you want to stay in the loop with other upcoming events as well as its competitive food and drinks menus, have a gander here.

The Balloon Cafe & Bar is located at Richmond Building, Bristol, BS8 1LN.  Tel. 0117 331 8663
