Why The Rummer we hear you ask? Well, The Rummer is indeed a Bristol institution, a cocktail pioneer and most recently, a micro-gin distillery! Yep, don’t let the name fool you… It's not all rum.
Forging highly exclusive blends, the cellar distillery was installed just last year but has since been a hit with gin-lovers and locals alike, while tasting sessions give visitors the chance to taste and learn about the tipples on offer.
Gin tastings are by far one of the most exciting things about The Rummer – and what’s more – they’re weekly! Held on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 3 pm, the sessions explore five premium gins including Bristol Dry Gin, Psychopomp and Six O’clock. Gin tasting vouchers are valid for up to a year, so there's no rush with this one!
