90s Rewind Concert at The Grand Pier on Saturday 8th September 2018
Posted on: 27 Aug 2018Remember the 90s? That wonderful decade of Sonic the Hedgehog, Jurassic Park, Tamagotchis, Home Alone and Friends. It was also a decade of some truly great music, so if you have a particularly nostalgic penchant for the aural glories of the era then you can head on down to The Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare for the 90's Rewind Concert on Saturday 8th September 2018.
Held to support many local grassroots clubs in the region such as Weston Rugby Club, Weston Football Club, Weston Crusaders and Worle Football Club, this joyous jaunt and frivolous hopscotch down musical memory lane is sure to evoke a few fond memories for those of us who actually lived through the decade.
It's seriously a case of heading Back to the Future (part 3 was released in 1990, OK?!), as resident DJs Adrian and Rick play their favourite songs and sets with a dance-tastic mix of 90s classics. We'd imagine the likes of Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Spice Girls, Prince, Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys and Madonna will be on their jukebox line-up.
A winning mix of cheesy retro classics from a bygone era on the most iconic landmark in Weston-super-Mare, this 90s montage of tuneage kicks off at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased here.
