How to be a Roman at M Shed on Wednesday 29th August 2018

Bristol's history fans can delve in to the past of one of the most fascinating periods in history with M Shed's How to be a Roman session on Wednesday 29th August 2018.

 

Taking place from 10am to 1pm, you can learn about the Romans part in this very city, as well as the homes and towns they lived in and everything else including Romano-British fashion through to their favourite gastronomy.

 

Also on offer to get you truly in the Roman mood will be donning authentic Roman attire, tasting Roman recipes, handling genuine artefacts in an immersive workshop as well as making crafts of your own.

 

Aimed primarily at the city's youngsters between 7 and 10 years, adults are nevertheless encouraged to join in on all these Roman shenanigans -just select an adult ticket when booking your little 'uns place. Children over 8 years old can participate in the session unaccompanied.
