Victorian Explorers: Tyntesfield Through Time on Thursday 23rd August 2018

Posted on: 21 Aug 2018

An exciting camp for Bristol's young enquiring minds will take place at beautiful Tyntesfield on Thursday 23rd August 2018.

Tyntesfield

Designed for 7-12 year olds, Victorian Explorers: Tyntesfield Through Time will delve into the past to look at how people lived, see the historic National Trust site through the eyes of previous incumbents, and pose the question of what future generations might think of the way we live today.

Activities will include ambling across the sprawling, beautiful estate and growing and tasting food, getting hands-on with some immersive woodland games, and clay modelling. It's the perfect chance to get the little 'uns away from their iPads and wii's and out into the glorious fresh air to satisfy their curious, adventure-seeking minds.

Tyntesfield

The day is inspired by Hannah Moore's commonplace book of her own visit to Tyntesfield and kids will be able to create their own personal diaries of their day's exciting exploits to keep for posterity for future generations.  The same event will also take place on 29th and 31st August.

Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased here.

Tyntesfield is located at Wraxall, Bristol, BS48 1NX.  Tel. 01275 461900
