As we all know, social media can be a fickle ol' thing; both a blessing and a curse. In the case of The Gin To My Tonic, one of the UK's leading social media channels espousing the delicious virtues of this fine juniper-based beverage, it's most definitely a blessing. And fans of the drink have even more reason to celebrate when they host a very special Summer Party at The Passenger Shed on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th August 2018.

A gin bar created especially for this brand new event, when you walk in you'll get a Gin To My Tonic copa glass and itinerary of gins you'll be able to sip throughout the day. Very simply, the aim of the event is to drink gin and have fun, as should quite rightly be the modus operandi of any gig that encourages you to enthusiastically imbibe in the company of like-minded booze hounds.

With their influence on the interweb and detailed knowledge of the product, the gins you'll be able to enjoy have been specially curated by The Gin To My Tonic to represent some of the very best drinks of its kind available today. Focus, then, will be on flavour, craftsmanship, and overall enjoyment. And as well as the main bar, you'll be able to get back into the true spirit of summer (and after a brief, inclement hiatus, it looks as if the sunshine's on it's way back) there will also be a fruit inspired gin and prosecco bar.

Drinking is, of course, one thing and a thoroughly noble pastime, especially when you're passionate about the product, but it's also nice, from an educational standpoint, to get to know a bit about the actual drink, its provenance, how it's made and the all rest of it. To that end, you'll have the chance to have a chinwag with some of the distilleries and businesses, hear their stories and ask any of those burning gin-related questions.
As is the case with many of these types of events, the bar will operate on a token system with each token costing £5 for a single measure of gin, garnish and mixer.

Session times will run as follows:
Friday 3rd August: 6.30pm – 11.00pm
Saturday 4th August: 12.00pm – 4.30pm
Saturday 4th August: 6.30pm – 11.00pm

Naturally it's an over 18s event and you might be asked to provide ID if you're lucky enough to look younger than you actually are. Tickets cost £12 and be snapped up here.

The Passenger Shed is located at Station Approach, Bristol, BS1 6QH.  Tel. 07590 545524
