Brand-new ART exhibition to be held at City Hall from Saturday 21st-Friday 27th July 2018

Posted on: 18 Jul 2018

An exhibition of work by eight talented, Bristol-based artists will be on show at City Hall from Saturday 21st to Friday 27th July 2018, covering a range of mediums and topics in what is sure to be an unmissable event for local art lovers.

The ART Exhibition will be hosted by The Vestibules from Saturday 21st-Friday 27th July 2018.

Covering an impressively diverse range of creative, artistic practices and disciplines - illustration, portraiture, printmaking, graphic design, and abstract - the skills on show might be disparate but the bonding, unifying link is their passion for art itself.

It all kicks off with a private viewing on Saturday 21st July from 3pm to 7pm, after which the exhibition will be open all week from Monday 23rd until Friday 27th July between 10am and 7pm.

At its very essence, the work represents a celebration of local artists which will also display a wonderfully varied range of prints and original paintings, as well as stalls selling a veritable feast of wares that means it's an exhibition that, artistically speaking, is sure to cater to everyone's tastes.

Artworks on display will be by Emily Krainc Art, Winged Fox Designs, Lee Byway, Pencil Girl, Maja Beattie Art, Astrid Foreman Fine Artist, Sophie Rae, and Katharina Nyilas Illustration. Combined, they'll cover the entire artistic, genre-crossing spectrum, from abstract expressionism to nature, pieces inspired by film, music and TV and environmental issues. The artists will also be around for the week so you can have a chat with them too.
