Posted on: 08 Jun 2018Hit show That’ll Be The Day is coming to Bristol Hippodrome for one night and one night only on Sunday the 1st July to delight audiences with live entertainment in the form of a selection of classic hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

That’ll Be The Day is the UK’s number one rock & roll variety production. It ignites nostalgia in its audiences through a unique blend of songs and comedy, all done in brilliant costume and sure to put a smile on your face!
The highly acclaimed show is re-written annually by creator, director, producer and performer Trevor Pane. Each year he incorporates new material into That’ll Be The Day to keep it new and fresh.
The touring musical extravaganza has been called ‘The best rock & roll show on the road!’ by Time Out, and has been performing to sold out audiences for an incredible 30 years. It was originally established in the late 1980s before beginning to play regional theatres in the early 1990s. The cast now perform at over 200 shows a year, and rarely is there an empty seat!
That’ll Be The Day are proud supporters of Make-A-Wish-UK - a charity granting wonderful wishes to children and young people suffering from life-threatening conditions. Make-A-Wish are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and Trevor Pane says that the cast and crew are “truly delighted to be supporting (them). The tireless work they do with children across the UK is inspirational and we look forward to a long and fruitful association with this amazing charity”. The show’s audiences have thus far raised an astonishing £200,000 in donations for the cause.
That’ll Be The Day is at Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday 1st July, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are from £28.40 and can be purchased here.
