Bill Bailey: Larks In Transit at Bristol Hippodrome on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th May 2018
Posted on: 09 May 2018Local legend turned global comedy superstar Bill Bailey will grace his comedy presence with a two-day mirth-fest when he performs at Bristol Hippodrome on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May 2018.
**For Pre and Post theatre snacks and drinks head to Smoke and Mirrors Bar on Denmark Street, BS1 5DQ**
Larks in Transit is his all-new show currently touring the UK which is a melting pot of hilarity and anecdotes collated from his experiences as 20 years as a travelling comedian.
In Bailey's typically trademark style, you can expect chuckles combined with more cerebral comedy, surreal offshoots, and plenty of his characteristic musical virtuosity - which in this case will involve the real story of Old McDonald, a reimagining of the Stars and Stripes, and a symphony from a ringtone.
Smart and hysterical, irreverent and offbeat, ingenious and inspired, Bailey never fails to entertain and enlighten and guarantees one of the city's comedy highlights of the year.
Tickets cost £31.65 (plus £2.85 transaction fee) and can be purchased here.
Bristol Hippodrome is located at St Augustine's Parade, Bristol, BS1 4UZ. Tel. 0844 871 3012

Jamie is a writer, blogger, journalist, critic, film fan, soundtrack nerd and all-round Bristolian good egg. He loves the music of Philip Glass, the art of Salvador Dali, the writings of Charles Bukowksi and Hunter S Thompson, the irreverence of Harry Hill, and the timeless, straw-chomping exuberance of The Wurzels. You can sometimes find him railing against a surging tide of passing cyclists, or gorging himself senseless on the Oriental delights of a Cosmos all-you-can-eat buffet.
