VegfestUK comes to Bristol this year on the 26th and 27th May and will be welcomed at its new home Ashton Gate stadium after years of being being held in Lloyd’s Amphitheatre. The event is entering into its 15th year as a showcase for delicious food, educational talks and local music, magic and comedy.

The vegan festival will feature around 220 stalls, and will have a number of performers including headliners Dr. Meaker and Smith & Mighty on the Ujima stage.

Daytime events will include cookery demos, talks on the health and performance benefits of plant-based diets and an Art of Compassion Exhibition. The evenings will feature comedy, magic, a Blues Lounge and an Electro Swing Lounge on the Saturday night.

The event organisers have said “We literally can’t wait for May to arrive… it’s not only the top-class facilities of this exquisite venue that leave us purring, but also the hugely positive feedback that we have received so far.”

“As many of our followers and supporters know, our Bristol event is one of the UK’s longest-running vegan events, stretching all the way back to 2003, and has traditionally been a hybrid of vegan information and outdoor carnival.”
