BMW X2 weekend at Bloc Climbing centre in Bristol from 23-25 March 2018
Posted on: 19 Mar 2018From the 23rd to 25th March 2018, the Bloc Climbing centre in St Werburghs, Bristol, will be hosting the BMW X2 events which are going on all weekend. Not only can you bag yourself some amazing prizes but also take the X2 on a test drive!
To celebrate the launch of the very first X2, BMW are organising a UK wide tour of immersive activations within bouldering centres and Bloc Climbing was of course the obvious choice in Bristol. The three-day activation from Friday to Sunday includes:
Taster sessions for new customers
Pro climber demonstrations
Test drive opportunities for customers
Charitable partnership presence
Live demos
UV immersive lighting at night
DJs and food
On Friday 23rd March it all kicks off with the corporate bouldering event. This will have a great set of routes for teams partaking in different challenges and competition and Rolls Royve will be looking to retain the trophy for a second year in a row. There will also be taster sessions and climbing demos throughout the evening.
On Saturday 24th March more taster sessions and climbing demos with the onsite climbing ambassadors. Then a mix-gender climbing comp from 4:30pm which is free to enter, and the final will take place at 7:30pm. Participants will also have the chance to win an amazing holiday for two at the Snowbombing festival. The night time programme includes a venue blackout with interactive lighting for a truly immersive experience. There will be more competitions, giveaways, pro-climber demonstrations and lots to keep you both active and entertained with live DJs, subsidised food and a UV light show.
On Sunday 25th March there will be even more taster sessions, demos and a sports clinic throughout the day.
During the whole weekend, the BMW X2 will be on display with test drives available. As well as this, they will have the best route setter in the UK setting some excellent grade and funky dynos. Bloc Climbing will be open as usual for normal climbing and youth sessions all weekend too.
