Funderworld is back at Durdham Downs in March and April 2018!
Posted on: 15 Mar 2018Funfair fiends, hold on to your hats - that most phantasmagorically fun-filled, adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster ride (quite literally) known as Funderworld returns to Bristol's Durdham Downs from Friday 16th March to Sunday 8th April 2018.
As always, this year will see the return of those classic funfair staples including dodgems, waltzers and ghost trains. New, thrilling rides for 2018 have already been confirmed as Mini Waveswinger, Stargate, the spinning car rollercoaster Crazy Mouse and, perhaps most spectacularly of all, AriMaxx - a monster ride featuring 8 somersaulting seats 48 metres high through a full 360 degree loop.
An exhilarating, giddying mix of family-friendly rides and traditional games, this is the biggest and best event of its kind in the South West that always packs in the thrill-seeking crowds.
Between all the endorphin-rushing madness though, you'll be able to take it easy and calm your excited nerves with the usual selection of tasty funfair fodder such as burgers, candy floss and doughnuts - although you might want to avoid them until AFTER enduring one of the more extreme rides.
