Windows. They can be a bit, well, boring, can't they? So next weekend all things window-related will get a considerable artistic, colourful boost as part of Window Wanderland Bishopston from Saturday 24th to Monday 26th February 2018.

The family-friendly event, now in its 4th year, transforms windows in the area into outdoor galleries. Past years have yielded some inspiring and surprising results and the hope this year is that it will be even bigger, better and more enchantingly magical than before. What's around the corner? Who knows....and that's the delightful, intriguing, illuminating surprise of it all.

A display could be anything from a book, fairy lights or candle, so your artistic ambitions don't have to be particularly grand; just the creative impulse to make these most prosaic of functional items a little bit more innovative and exciting. Intimate or incredible, the choice is entirely yours.

Winter Wanderland is also taking place across Ashton, Bedminster, Southville, East Bristol (BS9), Windmill Hill and Victoria Park from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th February 2018.
