The Festival of Freaks at Lakota on Friday 22nd December 2017

Christmastime meets carnival courtesy of those crazy, quirky folk of Lakota Bristol, which will put on its rip-roaring Festival of Freaks gig on Friday 22nd December 2017.

Actually, the only thing the event will have in common with the festive season is the fact it takes place so close to it, so what you'll really get is less Santas than circus acts, fewer winter wonderlands that walkabout theatrical characters, and no mince pies just immersive decor.

A marvellous amalgam of theatre, freak show and circus, this is probably the kind of un-Santa related spectacle that would have those more ardent festive traditionalists blubbing into to their strings of tinsel, and it's all the better for it.

Expect then, in addition to the previously mentioned smorgasbord of kooky characters and off-kilter entertainment, DJs, fire performers, Co2 and confetti, freak show face painting and, no doubt, a splendid smattering of other deviantly delicious surprises.

Pre-Christmas nighttime entertainment that pulls out all the stops and takes you on a rollercoaster wild ride, you can get your hands on tickets here
