Join Bristol-based Spike Island at their café this Friday the 8th December for Traditional Russian storytelling and Christmas feast. The food includes delicacies like Borsch, Herring, Smoked meats, Blini and of course – plenty of Vodka! Take a look at the mouth-watering menu...

 

Russian storytelling and feast at Spike Island Bristol

 Their storyteller will be reading tales of the festive season, following the 1917 revolution. It will take listerners to the days of the Soviet Union, as well as Russian Christmas eve and New Years celebrations.

 

Come along for the chance to eat delicious foods whilst learning about the interesting and unique history of Russia...

Traditional Russian food at Spike Island Bristol

The origins of many of the food dishes will also be explained in detail.
 

Tickets are £30 (including a shot of vodka!) They can be purchased online through Wriggle here or in store at Spike Island.
 

The event takes place between 7.30-10.30pm on Friday 8th December - get a group of pals together and settle in for the night. We think this would be a uniquely superior alternative to the usual torture of the work office Christmas party. 
 

Vegetarian options are available so please contact Spike Island to provide any dietary requirements when booking.
