From forming in 2009, The Vaccines shot to fame in the early stages of the 2010's, with two celebrated albums in 2011's What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? and album chart-topping Come of Age in 2012. The band found notoriety after uploading a demo of debut single If You Wanna to YouTube in 2010, with then-Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe going on to name it one of his 'Hottest Records in the World'. They were then invited to perform on Later Live With Jools Holland, becoming the first-ever act to appear on the programme before officially releasing a single.

The Vaccines have gone on to tally up an impressive list of support slots over the years, opening for musical heavyweights like The Stone Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones and Arctic Monkeys.

The April show at Bristol's O2 Academy is the first of nine dates on their UK tour, which also features performances in Manchester and Glasgow, culminating with a show at London's Alexandra Palace.
