Having grown up during turbulent times in Belfast in the 1960s and '70s, Brian Kennedy has gone on to enjoy a wonderful career in music, performing with the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Ray Charles among others. He also worked alongside the legendary Van Morrison throughout his career, contributing to albums and touring around the world.

As well as the long list of collaborations, though, Kennedy has also released several solo projects to widespread critical acclaim. 1996's 'A Better Man' and his 1999 offering 'Now That I Know What I Want' both went platinum and reached No.1 in the album charts.

Recently Brian has been busy back in the studio, putting the finishing touches on a 32-track double CD 'Essential Collection', including brand new recordings of past and present tracks, as well as a duet with Boy George. After all his years touring, he prizes the live gig above all else, seeing and hearing is the best and only way to truly experience his talent.
