Posted on: 03 Nov 2017

The festive season is approaching and many of us will want to be planning the extensive decorations before long. With Bristol being surrounded as it is with some gorgeous forests and farms, a freshly cut tree for your living room is one of the easiest Christmas commodities to secure. Many of these places also offer delivery for those of us who don’t fancy taking a 7ft tree on the bus home with us, or you can go along and handpick your favourite fir.

Frenchay Forestry has a long tradition of involvement in the Christmas tree market. They started by cutting trees in the Forest of Dean and selling at Ashton gate market. Soon afterwards people from all over Bristol were asking for their trees, so they started wholesaling Christmas trees too. However, their first love is selling Christmas trees directly to the people of Bristol. With over 30 acres of Christmas tree plantation and an additional 70 acres of Beech woodland in the Mendips, they genuinely are a forestry business, giving them the ability to provide you with freshly cut, locally grown trees throughout the festive season. You can go along and select your free from their amazing selection, or order them online. For more info visit their website.
