Mini Moon Festival brings the Far East to Bristol's O2 Academy on Sunday 1st October 2017

The Far East will meet the West in spectacular fashion when The Mini Moon Festival is unleashed at Bristol's O2 Academy on Sunday 1st October 2017.

The Mini Moon Festival will commence at 3pm on Sunday 1st October

Tantalising you throughout the day will be a unrelenting smorgasbord of music, dance, martial arts performances, stalls, origami, calligraphy, manga, lantern making and dumplings (yep, we said dumplings).

 

Headliner Fifi Rong will be supported by Makala Cheung, while there will plenty of other powerhouse performances from the likes of Movema (world dance fusion), GKR Karate, Bristol Shaolin temple wushu academy, Chinese Lion Dance, Angels Dance Academy- Ada Bristol , Ethereal, DJ Belakia (Asian Hiphop + K/J-pop), and Simon B from Guangzhou Underground, Streetenvy Dance and Fitness Academy.

 

The event conveniently coincides with China's Mid-Autumn Festival, which celebrates that quality quartet of moon, harvest, family and friendship.

 

Mini Moon Festival runs from 3pm-8pm, is recommended for ages 8+, and tickets cost £10.
