Smoke and Mirrors in Bristol events this week

Smoke and Mirrors on Denmark Street in Bristol are offering up another great line-up of comedy, skepticism and magical entertainment this week.

 

Kicking things off on Monday night, A Bunch of Japes bring their stand up comedy offerings to Smoke and Mirrors, hosted by local comedian George Rigden. Headlined tonight by Rich Wilson who is popularly regarded as one of the funniest comedians in the UK. With sell out shows all over the world this is one not to miss! Tickets are just £3.50 and it all starts from 8pm, but the bar is of course open before that. Get tickets here.

On Wednesday night it's the regular Skeptics in the Pub meet up with speaker Ian Ridpath discussing UFO's - Fact or Fiction? Did you know 100 are spotted every single day, that's one every 15 minutes! Starts at 7.30pm and entry is free however a suggested donation of £3 - £5 is appreciated! Facebook event details here.

 

Thursday brings another comedian to the house, this time it's Simon Caine following on from his appearances in Edinburgh during August. This show is Simon's attempt to work out if comedy has improved his life or immeasurably ruined it. Without narrative expect topics from Trump porn, dying alone, Fight Club, Tesco, you've got your hands, penguin dick pics, therapy. Tickets are £8.00 each and he Show starts at 8pm. Book away folks!

On Friday and Saturday it's time for the house magicians performing their comedy and magic shows. They are extremely popular so book online now - whilst writing it appears Saturday has already sold out!
