Dizzee Rascal Bristol

Dizzee Rascal, the original boy in da corner and grime propagator, is back on the scene and plotting a course back to Bristol – the scene of his triumphant Love Saves The Day headline slot back in 2016.

It was at the end of last May when Dizzee wound the Eastville Park crowd around his little finger with his cheeky charm and stone-cold rhymes; and, for a precious handful of moments, it was 2009 again and Tongue ‘N Cheek had just dropped. Fast-forward eight years and both the rapper and his faithful are slightly older, plumper and (partially) wiser – but the tracks sound as good as they did back then.

With an arsenal impressive enough to easily include the likes of ‘Fix Up, Look Sharp’, ‘Bonkers’ and ‘Holiday’, Dizzee’s is never going to look tired on stage – and we have the chance to catch him again this autumn, when he swings through the South West.

Dizzee Rascal will play at Bristol’s O2 Academy on Monday 16th October. Tickets cost £28.65 (including booking fee) and are available here.
