The six-time Academy Award-winning film will be screened at Colston Hall on the 22nd September with its soundtrack performed live by a 60-piece orchestra.

La La Land

Coming to Colston Hall this Autumn is, drumroll please… La La Land! And no, we (unlike the Academy) haven't made a mistake - a screening of the critically-celebrated film will arrive in Bristol on the 22nd September, complete with live musical accompaniment from a 60-piece orchestra.

The film, a jazz-hands addled love song to the golden age of Hollywood starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, won big at this year’s Oscars, scooping, among others, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Original Score.

The last of these has become a gleaming success in its own right, with the Justin Hurwitz-composed soundtrack having reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. It is this music that is set to be the focus of this new La La Land tour, when it will be put through its paces by a full 60-piece orchestra.

The second night of the tour comes at Colston Hall on September 22nd. Tickets, starting at £39.50, go on sale from Ticketmaster.
