Check Out the Christmas Fayre at Bristol's Alma Tavern

Posted on: 12 Dec 2016

Join the lovely folks at the Alma Tavern this Saturday (17th December) at their annual Christmas Fayre, which brings together music, food and retail therapy for a day of perfect festive cheer.

There will be much mistletoe-ing this Saturday at the Alma Tavern, who are once again erectic their artisan market to mark the coming of the most wonderful time of the year. Whether you're present shopping for that last fastidious family member or just fancy a bit of decent grub, the Alma Road Christmas Fayre should be on your agenda this weekend.

Alma Tavern

Boasting some of the best original buying opportunities for one afternoon only, the fayre will make available the wares of independent Alma Vale traders as well as hosting a craft market curated by local artists. If you can't finish off your Christmas shopping here then you are well-deserving of your spot on the Naughty List!

Those less retail-minded will find entertainment in the carol service led by the boys of the Cathedral Choir and gustatory stimulation from an onsite hog roast, as well as a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.

The Tavern itself, located at the heart of Clifton, is the ideal pub to meet friends, and managers Richard Maxwell and Holly Newton are keen to perpetuate the lively atmosphere. There is a great selection of real ales, ciders, wine and spirits, and a daily menu which includes lunchtime specials, sandwiches and light bites, with a kids' menu also available.

The fayre will be open from midday until 5pm. For more information, visit the Alma Tavern's Facebook page.
