Typical, eh? You wait to see one band and three turn up at the same time. At least, that's the musical tryptich you'll get at The Stag & Hounds in Bristol on Wednesday 30 November 2016 when Wash, The Out Crowd and Think Pretty take to the stage.

Bristol's 4-piece band, Wash, takes its sonic influences from the early 90's Seattle movement so you can be sure to expect a judicious smattering of guitar solos infused with a generous, ear-catching amount of cool melodies and grooves.

Following hot on their heels will be The Out Crowd, is a 3-piece band which has its origins in both Bristol and Exeter. And with its musical inspiration deriving from riff-rattling grungy rock bands, you can expect a venue-shakingly loud display of raw anthems and thrashing aural histrionics.

Wrapping up the evening's trilogy will be Think Pretty, one of Cardiff's most popular 2-piece alternative rock bands.

Offering up an evening of fun, musical mayhem with tickets costing a bargain basement £3 (so that's a quid per band then? Ridiculously good value) it all kicks off at 7.30pm and runs through until 11pm.

Guaranteed to give you a much-needed mid-week musical jolt at one of the best pubs in town, you can snap up tickets from the Bristol Ticket Shop website. You can also check out the event's official Facebook page. Stag and Hounds is located at 74 Old Market Street, Bristol, BS2 0EJ
