They recently posted about the benefits of protein in your diet and their advice couldn’t be more spot on. Check out a snapshot of what they had to say below.

“If wanting to lose weight, protein will be essential, as once you increase the amount of protein you will start to see rewarding changes. The reason is, that unlike refined carbohydrates and fatty foods, protein makes you fuller for longer and takes more time and work to digest, metabolise and use, so you burn more calories in processing it. If you have cravings for fatty foods, simply increase your protein levels and those cravings will go away!

If you increase your protein levels, it will boost your metabolism levels and keep you satisfied for longer. When you combine eating more protein with structured exercise, you can lose fat without losing muscle mass. As muscle burns more calories than fat, this can only be a good thing if you want to lose weight and get leaner.”
