Meantime Brewing Company and Bristol Blue Glass would like to invite you to the exclusive launch of their craft collaboration on Thursday 8th September - where both a Meantime inspired beer glass and Bristol Blue Glass inspired brew will be unveiled for the very first time.

Leading craft brewer Meantime Brewing Company has challenged pioneering glass makers, Bristol Blue Glass, to create twenty four hand-blown glasses for Meantime’s ‘Make Time For It’ pop-up bar in just six weeks, the same time it will take Meantime to brew them a bespoke beer full of flavour.

James Adlington, founder of Bristol Blue Glass

Meantime are currently busy brewing a unique West Country Pilsner inspired by Bristol Blue Glass’s history and distinctive style, as well as the regions cider-producing heritage. The beer will with a tasting session led by Meantime’s brewing team alongside the reveal of the glasses. It will then be available for beer fans to purchase from Meantime’s online store, brewery shop and Tasting Rooms at the brewery in Greenwich.

The evening marks the coming together of two highly innovative, creative and iconic craft brands to celebrate Meantime’s ‘Make Time For It’ campaign. Guests will be given the opportunity to sample the beer and see the unique beer glasses that were designed for the occasion.

James Adlington, founder of Bristol Blue Glass, says:

“Bristol Blue Glass was founded in 1988 as a way to re-establish a tradition that had been lost for over 60 years: the art of glass-making. Twenty-eight years on, we still endeavour to keep the tradition alive and are always looking for new and innovative ways to do so. Our involvement in this campaign has allowed us to really push the boundaries of glass blowing and create something unique for Meantime.

I can’t wait for the launch where we can taste the beer Meantime have brewed specially for us, from the Hourglass we designed to serve it in.”
