Batala Bristol will play host to the legendary dance instructor Professor Carlos Ujhama this month for his only workshop in the UK outside of London.

Batala, a famous Samba Reggae organisation who take part in lots of festivals across the city, are delighted to announce that Professor Carlos will be running dance workshops in Afro Samba Reggae for his dedicated fans and beginners alike.

 

The Brazilian dance teacher and member of the International Dance Council will be visiting the UK for one week only. He is the Director of Choreography at the AFROSSà Cia Contemporanea de INtervençao Urbana in Brazil and is well known in the African dance industry.

 

At least 200 people are interested in attending the three hour workshop which will be held at the Trinity Centre at 7pm on Tuesday 23rd of August. Tickets are £25 or £20 for concessions and can only be bought on the door. For any other information visit their Facebook page.
