After Hours at Arnos Vale Cemetery on Friday 29 July 2016

Posted on: 26 Jul 2016

Immerse yourself in the darker side of Arnos Vale Cemetery when it hosts a suitably morbid evening of tragic and chilling tales at its After Hours event on Friday 29 July 2016.

This thrillingly creepy tour will take you on a trail through the broken paths, creeping branches and the mortuary crypt for a goosebump-inducing journey of sinister folk customs, terrible tales and Victorian funeral etiquette. The ultimate night to soak up the ethereal beauty of the Necropolis contrasted with plenty of stories guaranteed to send a chill down your spine.

But if you want a place on this fantastically dark and alternately eerie take on the history of Arnos Vale, you'd better hurry - this popular annual event sells out quickly so it's best to book your tickets now.

It's also important to note that Arnos Vale Cemetery is not a fully accessible site and the tour will cover steps, slopes and muddy and uneven paths, and it's strongly recommended you wear warm close and sensible shoes. As the tour ends at dusk you'll also need to bring a torch.

The event runs from 7.30pm to 9pm. Tickets are £8 and you can buy them here - arnosvale.org.uk

Arnos Vale Cemetery is located at: Bath Road, Bristol, BS4 3EW.
