Comic Making Workshop at Windmill Hill City Farm on Wednesday 27 July 2016

Posted on: 25 Jul 2016

Calling Bristol's budding young Stan Lees - Windmill Hill City Farm in Bristol is giving the city's youngsters the chance to create their very own comic book when it holds a Comic Making Workshop on Wednesday 27 July 2016.

The workshop is for 8 to 12 year olds and will run from 10am to 3pm with a break for lunch.

Illustrator Rosie Faragher will guide the kids through a day of fun, interactive comic-making activities with lessons in how to draw, invent your own characters and make your own comic book, the final version of which they'll be able to take home to show their family and friends.

It's a great opportunity for kids to indulge in their artistic, creative side and create characters who could, in years, become as iconic as Spiderman or The Incredible Hulk.

The workshop costs £24 for the day and you should take a packed lunch and wellies and waterproofs just in case it rains.

For more information about the event, you can head to www.windmillhillcityfarm.org.uk their Facebook page. Visit them at Philip Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4EA.
