This is THE FINAL month that local businesses can sign up to the fast paced; adrenaline fuelled Julian House Dragon Boat Festival, taking place at Baltic Wharf, Bristol on Saturday 3rd September.

 

 

Now in its 10th year, this is one of the best bonding experiences for any work place, as it provides everyone with a sense of teamwork, topped off with a great time throughout the day! This year, the organisers have put on a selection of Street-food traders coming along as well as martial arts performers so it will be fun for all of your family and friends!

 

Whilst this is a lot of fun and a real day of work, the real message is through the amazing charity that the race and festival focuses on. Julian House charity helps to prevent homelessness in Bristol. Through their supported accommodation projects they have given local men and women housing, access to counselling and specialist help to address deep routed and complex problems

 

Alexis Woodward, the event organiser, advised, “So far we have teams taking part from small and large companies across Bristol and further afield. It is a great event for team building, and spectators are welcome too!”

 

 “Each team member that competes is asked to aim to raise £100 each and all your teams fundraising will go towards helping disadvantaged people to rebuild their lives” added Alexis

 

Organising charity Julian House have a few remaining spaces for local companies to enter a team in this years fast paced and action packed charity event

 

To enter you need a minimum of 13 rowers, and boat capacity is 17 no previous experience is necessary. To enter your team, to support Julian House registration is £365 and the event takes place on 3rd September 2016.
