Attic Bar in Stokes Croft in Bristol will be filled a funky sonic blend of drum rhythms, synthesizers and cool vocals when Sorceress plays at the venue on Saturday 25 June 2016.

Sorceress is the brainchild of vocalist Rachel Fraser and producer Isaac Aesili and the band has exponentially developed from its original funk roots to explore new music ideas utilizing electronica, synth-based jazz textures and deep bass lines.

Their second album, Dose, was nominated at the 2014 New Zealand Music Awards in the Best Electronica Album category, while their work has been highly revered and praised by musical peers DJ Fitchie of Fat Freddy’s Drop  and Aaron Tokona of Ahoribuzz.

The evening will also see solid support from Ink Project, DJ Hiphoppapotamus and DJ Ted at The Full Moon.

Doors open at 8.30pm with the gig running until 2am. Entry is free before 9.30pm and £3 after. For more information head to the event's Facebook page. Attic Bar is located at: 1 North Street, Stokes Croft, Bristol, Avon BS1 3PR.
