Chilli Daddy has opened a new permanent stall in St Nick's Market in Bristol

Posted on: 21 Jun 2016

The master of Szechuan gourmet food himself - Dr Weng - has expanded his food chain for the new venture which is the latest addition to restaurants on Baldwin Street, Perry Road close to Bristol University and his weekly Wednesday appearance at the Corn Street/Wine Street Market.

It all started in 2011 when Chilli Daddy became the UK's first Szechuan street food stall and went on to be shortlisted in the 2014 Food and Farming awards. Five years later and the rest, as they say, is history, with Bristol's voracious gastronauts lapping up authentic dishes of Szechuan mastery with a gutsy, fiery kick.

Taking inspiration from his grandparents' recipes and using the very finest in locally sourced ingredients, Chilli Daddy looks set to continue feeding the city's foodies with delicious Szechuan meals packed with passion, fire and flavour.

And if that's not enough to get your taste buds going, how about taking advantage of this week's pretty darned marvelous offer of 15 per cent of all meals.
