He is returning to Bristol following the success of his latest single Sharpness which was released in August last year. After his triumphant live return in London last week, Jamie has received great press especially in regard to his new album Making Time which hit the market in November. Jamie Woon has been playing gigs at selected festivals around Europe last year during which he found the time to put together this album.

“Each project takes as long as it takes,” says Jamie. “It's quite common for me to start a song and then sit on it for 2 years before I finish it. I used to feel a lot of guilt about how long things take, but I’ve made peace with that. Part of the reason this record took so long is that I wanted to feel like a new person, releasing a new record.”

In every song you can feel his musical ear as well as hearing his focus to detail. For the first song Message of the album Making Time Jamie works together with Royce Wood Junior. This song was the beginning of an ambitious time for the singer who said "That’s me explaining what I’ve been up to and working out why I do this. The process of this record was about me finding that confidence in myself.”

Tickets for the gig are SOLD OUT however make sure and check with Bristol Bierkleller on Facebook to see if any spares become available. In the meantime download his single Making Time for free from iTunes and check out his awesome music on YouTube.
